Social SEO

TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram have become search engines. The question is whether your profiles show up in search.

The modern buyer searches "how to solve X" on YouTube before Google, discovers a solution on TikTok before a referral, validates a brand on Instagram before a meeting. We optimize your company's profiles to appear in the internal search of these platforms and connect each profile to your website through the correct Schema, so the authority built on one network adds to the other. This isn't social media management. It's technical SEO applied to the platforms where your buyer searches first.

A social profile is an indexed page

The difference between social media as a bulletin board and social media as a search channel

TikTok has become a search engine for an entire generation. YouTube is the world's second largest search engine. LinkedIn profile ranking determines who gets invited to a meeting and who never even reaches the inbox. Instagram bios show up on Google when a buyer searches for a professional's name. All of this is SEO, and almost no agency treats it that way.

Your competitor posts on Instagram hoping for virality. You optimize so your profile shows up when someone searches "M&A consultant in Chicago" on LinkedIn, "dental implant in Austin" on Google, and "facial harmonization" on TikTok Search. That's the difference between a channel that prays to the algorithm and a channel that operates with technical rigor.

The 3-Stage Method isn't about posting. It's about mastering time on every platform where your buyer searches.

Verticals with strong fit for social SEO

The industries where in-platform social search turns into revenue

Not every sector has ICP fit on visual social platforms. These are the five B2B verticals where appearing in TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, or LinkedIn's internal search moves real pipeline.

02

YouTube and LinkedIn as proof of method

Education and professional training

Executive MBAs, corporate graduate programs, and technical courses sell method and faculty. YouTube with sample lessons, LinkedIn with a visible instructor, and TikTok with educational clips become an indexable acquisition channel.

03

Technical YouTube as an indexable library

Industry with a visual technical product

Industrial buyers research operation videos, technical demonstrations, maintenance, and comparisons on YouTube before closing a contract. An indexed technical channel becomes a quiet B2B lead-generation library, at no paid-media cost.

04

Corporate LinkedIn plus technical YouTube

Consulting firms with corporate presence

B2B consulting firms use corporate LinkedIn for institutional authority and technical YouTube for proof of method. Both channels work as indexable long-tail SEO, complementary to the site's classic SEO.

05

TikTok and Instagram as visual search

Aesthetic health and wellness

Buyers of high-ticket aesthetic procedures search on Instagram Explore and TikTok Search before searching on Google. Appearing in that first visual search defines who gets considered and who never even reaches the website.

Past Stage T

Recovering social profiles as digital assets already built

Your company has social profiles with 5, 8, 10 years of posted content. Almost none of it is structured to be found through in-platform search or cited by LLMs in answers with a social component. Recovering that legacy is the first step.

Social profile audit by platform

TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter/X. Each profile evaluated for completeness of indexable fields, bio keyword quality, linkage to the website, applied Schema Person, and evergreen content history.

Recovery of historical evergreen content

A 3-year-old YouTube video that still gets traffic, an Instagram post that becomes an industry reference, a LinkedIn thread that resurfaces in search. That content is a forgotten SEO asset. We identify it, re-power it with Schema VideoObject, and link to it from the website.

Handle and URL reconciliation

A company with inconsistent handles (@company, @company-us, @company-official) splits authority across profiles. We consolidate to one canonical handle per platform and redirect the others when possible.

Schema Person and sameAs map

Every visible professional or executive at the company connected between the corporate website and social profiles via Schema Person with the sameAs property. This creates an indexable identity graph for Google and LLMs.

Present Stage T

Optimizing each platform for the search that happens within it

TikTok has become a search engine for Gen Z and Millennials; YouTube is the world's second largest search engine; LinkedIn profile ranking defines B2B visibility; Instagram bio indexes on Google. Each platform has its own search rules that need to be optimized.

Technical TikTok SEO

Bio optimization with industry keywords, unsaturated medium-tail hashtags, descriptive alt text in captions, content series with searchable names, TikTok Shop integration when applicable, TikTok Search monitoring.

Technical YouTube SEO

Titles optimized for YouTube Search and Google Video, structured description with timestamps, relevant tags, Schema VideoObject on the site when the video is embedded, thumbnail with tested CTR, automatic chapters for retention.

Instagram bio and grid SEO

Bio with a keyword indexed on Google, strategic link in bio (Linktree alternative with Schema), Reels with captions optimized for internal discovery, Story highlights that become indexable pages, Schema Person linking to the site.

LinkedIn profile and company SEO

Headline optimized for LinkedIn internal search (role plus industry plus differentiator), About section structured for keywords, posts with relevant tags, strategic recommendations, Newsletter when applicable.

Schema SocialMediaPosting and VideoObject on the site

Relevant social content (videos, long-form posts, threads) gets its own Schema on the corporate website for citation in AI Overview and secondary ranking in classic Google.

Profile integration with Schema Person

Every visible professional or executive connected between the website and social profiles via Schema Person plus the sameAs property pointing to the official profile. This creates a cohesive digital entity for Google and LLMs.

Future Stage T

Multi-platform distribution with ranking measurement within each one

In the long run, each platform becomes owned media with measurable share of voice. Not follower vanity, but position in internal search for strategic keywords, citation in AI Overview, and trackable traffic to the site.

Internal search ranking monitoring

The company's and its professionals' position for strategic keywords within TikTok Search, YouTube Search, LinkedIn Search, and Instagram Explore. A measurement almost no one does, and one that separates serious strategy from generic social media.

Share of Voice in user-generated content

Quantifying mentions of the brand, its professionals, and the product in third-party content on social platforms. A real indicator of social authority, far more solid than follower count.

Citation in AI Overview with a social component

Optimization so that social content (YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok) gets cited in LLM-generated answers when the query has an educational, technical, or industry component.

Traffic tracked to the corporate website

Every visit originating from a social profile is tagged with standardized UTMs and sent to the CRM with an identified source. This allows calculating the channel's organic CAC and justifying continued investment.

A level-headed platform expansion plan

When a client wants to activate Twitter/X, Threads, Bluesky, Pinterest, or TikTok for the first time, we assess technical fit, the platform's ICP, and expected ROI before spreading content on a network with no return.

The first 90 days

Audit, optimization, and internal ranking measurement in three months

Social SEO doesn't pay off in 30 days. The first 90 days build the foundation. Starting month 4, we optimize based on real internal search data.

01

Month 1

Audit and map of social assets

An inventory of what the company already has in social content and the technical state of each profile. Without a map, optimization becomes a blind shot across five platforms at once.

  • Platform-by-platform audit (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn) with an inventory of indexable fields
  • Recovery of historical evergreen content with SEO potential
  • Reconciliation of handles and canonical URLs by platform
  • Schema Person and sameAs map between profiles and the corporate website
  • Platform prioritization based on ICP and production capacity
02

Month 2

Technical optimization on each prioritized platform

Execution of bio, profile, evergreen content, and Schema optimizations. Each platform handled by a specialist, with no generic template.

  • TikTok and YouTube optimized for internal search
  • Instagram with an indexed bio and Schema Person on the site
  • Key-profile LinkedIn with optimized headline and About section
  • Schema SocialMediaPosting and VideoObject implemented on the corporate website
  • Integration via sameAs between professionals and official social profiles
03

Month 3

Internal ranking and Share of Voice monitoring

After 60 days of optimization, serious measurement begins: internal search position, share of voice in third-party content, citation in AI Overview with a social component.

  • Internal search ranking dashboard by platform
  • Share of Voice metric in user-generated content
  • Monitoring of citations in AI Overview with a social component
  • UTM-tracked traffic to the corporate website
  • Quarterly executive report with a plan for the next one

Setting expectations

Who this service was designed for, and who it wasn't

A limited roster demands clarity on fit before the diagnostic. This is the line between what we accept and what we honestly turn down at the first contact.

YES

Who it was designed for

  • B2B company or senior independent professional with existing social profiles, or ones already planned
  • A defined content thesis (or willingness to define one) with SEO Consulting or LinkedIn Strategy
  • An internal team or partner capable of producing content on the prioritized platforms
  • Treating social media as an indexable acquisition channel, not as a news bulletin board
  • Willingness to measure results by internal ranking and Share of Voice, not by likes
NO

Who we didn't build this for

  • Those looking for traditional social media management (posting plus engagement plus follower reports)
  • B2C businesses or impulse products where social media works through paid media, not organic SEO
  • Companies without active profiles and without the capacity to produce content on the prioritized platforms
  • Those who expect virality as the primary metric
  • Companies whose corporate website lacks the advanced Schema needed to integrate with social profiles

Investment

How our commercial model works

Monthly retainer with a six-month minimum. Social SEO doesn't pay off in a sprint, it pays off with continuous cadence. Predictable pricing, defensible when you present it to your partners.

Questions from those who understand the difference

The real questions before hiring

The same questions an owner, Head of Marketing, and Sales Manager ask before approving a Social SEO retainer at a B2B company.

Is Social SEO different from social media management?

Completely. Traditional social media management focuses on posting volume, engagement, and followers. Social SEO focuses on the platform's internal search (TikTok Search, YouTube Search, LinkedIn Search), indexable Schema on the corporate website, profile integration with Schema Person, and Share of Voice in user-generated content. Same name, different discipline.

Why treat a social profile as an indexable asset?

Because behavior has changed. Gen Z and Millennials search on TikTok Search before Google. B2B buyers search on LinkedIn Search before requesting a meeting. Industrial buyers search for demonstrations on YouTube before closing a contract. Appearing in these internal searches is SEO, not social media. The technical discipline behind it is different.

Do you post for the client, or just provide strategy?

We operate on a collaborative model. Strategy, technical profile optimization, content cluster definition, Schema, and technical integration with the website are our deliverables. Content production (recording, editing, posting) can be ours, the client's, or a partner's, decided platform by platform and by scope during the initial diagnostic.

How long does it take to see ranking in TikTok or YouTube's internal search?

TikTok Search responds in 4 to 8 weeks with a consistent posting cadence. YouTube Search is slower (10 to 16 weeks) because the algorithm weighs retention, watch time, and sustained engagement. LinkedIn Search responds faster (3 to 6 weeks) because its search base is smaller and more technical. Each platform has its own curve, all measurable.

Is YouTube more SEO or more social media?

YouTube is the world's second largest search engine. More SEO than social. YouTube videos index on Google and appear in classic search SERPs, especially for educational, technical, and how-to queries. A serious YouTube strategy treats every video as an SEO page with Schema VideoObject embedded on the corporate website.

Does it make sense to invest in TikTok for B2B?

It depends on the sector. TikTok works very well for aesthetic health, facial harmonization, clinical dermatology, visual executive education, and industrial companies with technical products that can become visual content. It doesn't work for corporate fintech, traditional management consulting, or technical B2B SaaS where the ICP isn't on the platform. We assess fit during the diagnostic; we don't sell TikTok to everyone.

How do you measure ROI for Social SEO?

Concrete metrics: internal search position for strategic keywords, number of visits originating from the social profile to the site (tracked by UTM), form and WhatsApp conversions with an identified social source, Share of Voice in third-party content, citation in AI Overview. Follower vanity doesn't count as a primary metric.

Do you implement Schema VideoObject and SocialMediaPosting on my site?

Yes, it's part of the standard scope when the corporate website allows it. An embedded video becomes a VideoObject in the Schema; a relevant LinkedIn or Twitter post becomes a SocialMediaPosting; a professional's profile becomes a Schema Person with sameAs pointing to the official profile. Technical integration that connects social media to the site's SEO, creating an identity graph for Google and LLMs.

Do you work with more than one platform, or just one per contract?

2 to 4 platforms per contract. Fewer than two, and the integration doesn't make sense; more than four, and the operation dilutes into volume and loses technical depth on each platform. We define which ones to include based on ICP, internal production capacity, and technical fit during the Month 1 diagnostic.

Can I hire only Social SEO, without SEO Consulting?

You can, but the return is partial. Social SEO works best when the corporate website has advanced Schema and the organic Google channel is healthy. When the site lacks an SEO foundation, integration between social profiles and the site stays shallow. In that case, we recommend evaluating SEO Consulting or Corporate Websites before this standalone project.

Where Social SEO connects

The workstreams that often integrate with the same client

Social SEO works best when the corporate website has advanced Schema and when visible professionals are integrated via Schema Person.

LinkedIn Strategy Sister discipline: while Social SEO works on the brand across TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram, LinkedIn focuses on the partners' personal authority. 3-Stage Operation When social profiles need to be integrated with SEO, the website, content, and the partners' LinkedIn under the same team. Corporate Websites Websites with Schema SocialMediaPosting plus VideoObject that connect the brand's ranking in traditional search and on social platforms. Local SEO When social profiles help defend regional territory, integrated with Google Business Profile and Schema LocalBusiness.

Social profile diagnostic

Before the proposal, a diagnostic of your profiles as indexable assets.

Audit of TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn, an inventory of evergreen content with SEO potential, a Schema Person and sameAs map between professionals and profiles, a baseline of internal search ranking. No generic pitch, no social media template. Diagnostic first, proposal after.
